Syrian army takes control of second US military base in country

After coordination with the American side, the Syrian army assumed control of the second U.S. Armed Forces base in Syria, Al-Shaddadi, located in the northeastern province of Hasakah, which is controlled by the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces and situated near the borders with Turkey and Iraq.
