Italian politician: Ceding Donetsk defenses could trigger new Russian offensive

Italian Senator Carlo Calenda has urged Ukraine not to yield to pressure and not to hand over fortified territories in the Donetsk region to Russia during peace negotiations, warning that such a move would encourage the Kremlin to launch a new wave of aggression.
