Russia expands AI disinformation into cognitive warfare

Russia has scaled up its use of deepfakes and AI-generated video to the level of a full-fledged cognitive warfare tool, according to the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) under Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council.
